Transparent, flat-fee wealth management for self-directed investors who are ready for a thought partner — without giving up control or paying more as your portfolio grows.
You've managed your own money for years. Now the questions are getting bigger — and the stakes are higher. We're here when you're ready.
You pay a transparent, fixed fee for our guidance — not a percentage of your portfolio. As your wealth grows, our fee stays the same.
Not ready to hand over the reins? You don't have to. We work alongside you — answering questions, pressure-testing decisions, and stepping in when you want us to.
This isn't a plan that sits in a drawer. You get continuous access to planning support — someone to call when the market shifts or a decision arises.
We are legally bound to act in your best interest. No commissions, no product sales, no hidden incentives — just clear, objective advice.
Keep your accounts where they are. We advise on allocation, tax strategy, and income planning without requiring you to transfer a single dollar.
Roth conversions, retirement paycheck design, income sequencing, Medicare planning — we specialize in the decisions that define your financial future.
No long onboarding process. No pressure. Just a straightforward path to better financial clarity — starting with a free conversation and moving at your pace.
A 30-minute call to understand where you are, what you're trying to solve, and whether we're the right fit. No commitment, no pitch.
We dig into your full financial picture — income sources, tax situation, investments, retirement timeline — and build a clear, actionable roadmap.
Life changes. Markets move. We're here year-round — reviewing your plan, answering questions, and helping you make confident decisions.
A single poorly timed Roth conversion, an inefficient withdrawal sequence, or an overlooked tax bracket can cost six or even seven figures over a retirement. Our job is to make sure that doesn't happen.

I'm Trent Grzegorczyk — I've spent over twelve years in independent wealth management. I've worked at large firms and small ones, and I keep coming back to the same conclusion: the best advice comes from someone who knows your name, your situation, and your goals.
I built Flat Fee for people like the ones I've always loved working with — smart, capable people who've done well on their own but want a sounding board as the decisions get more complex. You don't need someone to take over. You need someone in your corner.
I'm based in Naples, Florida, and I work with clients across the country.
If yours isn't here, just ask. That's what the intro call is for.
Most advisors charge 1% of assets under management. On a $2M portfolio, that's $20,000 a year — and it goes up as your portfolio grows, even though the work doesn't. Our flat fee stays the same regardless of your portfolio size. You get the same depth of planning, the same access, and the same advice — without the fee scaling against you. For most of the clients we work with, the savings over a 10–20 year retirement are substantial.
Not stock picks. You're paying for the decisions that happen around your portfolio — when to convert to Roth and how much, which accounts to draw from first, how to manage tax brackets as RMDs kick in, whether your withdrawal rate is sustainable through a downturn. These are coordination and sequencing problems, and getting them right (or wrong) can mean hundreds of thousands of dollars over a retirement. Most self-directed investors are strong on the investing side but haven't stress-tested the planning side.
No. You can keep your investments exactly where they are — Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, wherever. We advise on your portfolio without requiring you to move anything. Most of our clients prefer it this way. If you do want us to manage your investments directly, we can discuss that too.
Think of it as a progression. The Focused Strategy Session ($1,250) is a single deep-dive on one decision — ideal if you want to experience how we work before committing further. The Retirement Architecture Plan (starting at $6,000, depending on complexity) is the full build: a comprehensive design of how your income, investments, and taxes work together for the next 20–30 years. Most clients start there. Ongoing Planning (starting at $650/month, depending on complexity, 12-month minimum) keeps your strategy current year-round with scheduled reviews, continuous monitoring, and direct access to Trent. If you start with a Focused Session, your $1,250 applies as credit toward the Architecture Plan within 30 days.
Absolutely — and we prefer it. Tax planning and retirement planning don't live in separate boxes. We coordinate directly with your CPA on Roth conversion timing, year-end tax projections, and withdrawal sequencing. If you have an estate attorney, we'll make sure your beneficiary designations, trust structures, and wealth transfer strategy are aligned with your income and tax plan. We're the connective tissue between the professionals you already trust.
You get a custom service calendar — not a generic quarterly check-in. We schedule reviews around the decisions that matter: pre-year-end tax planning, Roth conversion windows, RMD calculations, Social Security timing, and any life changes that affect your plan. Between scheduled reviews, you have direct access to Trent for questions as they come up. Think of it as having a financial co-pilot on retainer.
The first conversation is always free. No pitch, no pressure — just an honest discussion about where you are and how we might help. Pick a time that works for you.
